Ophthalmic Technician: Full-Time: Candidate must possess good reading, writing and verbal communication skills, Basic computer skills, Ability to work in close contact with patients in a caring, professional manner. Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision under moderately stressful situations. Ability to work closely with Ophthalmologist to provide high quality patient care.
Prefer a minimum of one year direct patient care experience in optometry or ophthalmology. Candidate must be able to accurately record patient health and ocular history utilizing electronic health record. Perform a variety of specialized screening tests related to a medical eye exam including visual fields and OCT.
