Optometrist

Dr. Cooper is a native of Stillwater, Oklahoma. She received her undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and her optometric degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah. While at NSUOCO, she received the Award of Clinical Excellence and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Following graduation, she completed an ocular disease residency and one of the country’s first retina fellowship programs for an optometrist. She has worked with a focus on retinal pathology for the past nine years.

Dr. Cooper recently joined The Eye Institute and provides routine vision exams, treatment of ocular infections, diabetic and glaucoma examinations, and co-management for post-surgical patients. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is board certified by the American Board of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. Dr. Cooper lives in Tulsa with her husband and their three children.
