Dr. Vanessa Bennett’s journey in optometry began with a solid academic foundation at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, followed by her exceptional performance at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry (NSUOCO) in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, Vanessa’s dedication to academic excellence was recognized with induction into Beta Sigma Kappa, a prestigious honor reserved for top achievers. Notably, she also earned recognition as one of the top clinicians in her graduating class, receiving the Clinical Excellence Award for her outstanding contributions.

Since joining The Eye Institute in 2014, Dr. Bennett has been dedicated to providing comprehensive vision care services. Her expertise encompasses routine vision care, treatment of ocular infections, and co-management for post-surgical care, ensuring her patients receive top-notch treatment and support throughout their eye health journey.

Dr. Bennett is an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, demonstrating her commitment to staying connected with her professional community and staying updated on the latest advancements in optometry.
