Optometry

Originally from Apache, Oklahoma, Dr. Batesse embarked on his academic journey at Cameron University in Lawton.  After his freshman year in college, Dr. Battese spent a summer working at the Optometry Dept in his local hospital and fell in love with the profession. He later got his degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, where he graduated Cum Laude. Notably, his outstanding academic achievements led to his induction into Beta Sigma Kappa. In 2012, he was elected Class President, further showcasing his leadership qualities and dedication to his peers.

A passionate advocate for eye care, Dr. Battese is an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. He believes in giving back to his community and has contributed his expertise to numerous Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity trips to Honduras.

Dr. Battese offers a wide range of services, including comprehensive eye examinations, diabetic eye examinations, glaucoma evaluations, contact lens examinations, and treatment. He is committed to providing personalized care to each patient, ensuring their eye health and vision are optimized for a better quality of life.

Dr. Battese grew up in the country and has fond memories of fishing, catching bugs and playing in the pasture with his cousins. Today, Dr. Battese lives in Broken Arrow with his wife Ashley and their two daughters, Hazel and Viola. In his free time, he enjoys reading, most outdoor activities (especially ultimate frisbee) and hosting board game nights with friends.
